What a surprise, it was my Birthday in September and I couldn’t have received a
more wonderful birthday present from my Wife than what she presented me with.."THAT
GOAL". WOW!!! Dickies life saver....30th May 1999. A day I will never forget. As
a TRUE BLUE for more years than I wish to remember, down to Wembley for our day,
got to do it, minutes left to the final whistle, left our seats with thousands of
other blues, then the Roar, back into Wembley, any seat we could get. Dickie had
done it and the rest is History. I would just like to thank you from the bottom
of my blue heart for re-creating that scene and for me to wake up every day and
relive, by looking at the Painting, the joy and pleasure you have brought. It has
pride of place in my new home on the Costa Blanca, Spain which incidentally has
a brilliant supporters Club of MCFC. Cant wait for the next painting from you. Will
eagerly watch your Web site. Thanks again.

‘Having been at Wembley that damp day in May, I just had to have a copy of ‘that
goal’ and was delighted with the purchase – it now sits proudly in my 9 yr old son’s
bedroom. ‘That Goal’ without a doubt was the most important goal in City’s history
– without it the rich oil boys from the Middle East would not be here now!!!

'I was well on the way from Wembley on a tube bound for nowhere at the time when
Dicky struck. Had to listen to the Penner shoot-out by phone as described by my
wife Wendy which was a tad dis-jointed to say the least ! We got there in the end
which left me running around Baker Street station punching the air and singing to
a set of bemused commuters.
Is so important to have this moment so accurately preserved for me and as a reminder
to what I missed. Is true to life and captures the atmosphere within the stadium
from that day perfectly. Very happy with this, any real City fan should have a copy'

Superb print. The memory of that stunning 95th minute goal comes flooding back every
time I look at it. "Gettin ya wee dancer!!"

I stumbled across your website when looking for a birthday pressie for my husband.
I bought a framed ‘That Goal’. He was delighted thank you and I received it 2 days
after I’d ordered it! It now hangs proudly on the wall of his study.

I have just received my print of City’s 5-1 demolition of the Reds for my son for
Christmas. He use to stand in the old Kippax and I can’t wait to see his face! Thankyou
for the swift delivery.

I can re-live That Goal as if i actually saw it as like many of us blues I was half-way
down Wembley Way contemplating the demise of the club and the prospect of another
hard season in the third tier of football. what a goal that was and what an emotional
day it was and the picture portrays all that.

’10 years ago? I can still feel the hairs on the back of my neck stand up when I
watch the Dickov goal again, I still replay the goal in my memory from my seat exactly
on the edge of the 18 yard area when Paul started the explosion of noise when the
ball hit the back of the net, pure pandemonium followed by tears of joy. It really
is sobering to think where we would have been without this goal!
A fantastic print
from the artist and this really captures moment of the goal, good work!’
